Registration
A customer registering with Rohana Gem Bureau (herein after called RGB) for viewing or using this site to purchase its products is bound by these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are equivalent to a binding contract. RGB reserves the right to change modify these terms and conditions from time to time.

Privacy
Information provided by a customer to RGB web site will be used solely by RGB for its business and will not be shared with any third party. RGB uses the services of 2CO as its authorized retailer. Please see 2CO privacy policy at their website.

Customer Support
It is requested that all customer clarifications information requested be sent by E Mail to rohanage@slt.lk or info@rohangems.com, you are assured a response within 24 hours. If you want more details about a specific item use the inquiry button relevant to the item. If add to cart button is not available and instead a check availability button is appearing the item is not available to be purchased through 2CO immediately. Send a message using check availability button and get the item reserved if it is available and you are interested in purchasing.

Copyright.
The contents in this web site including designs, images and any other materials are the property of RGB and its suppliers. The information contained in the site should be used only for the purpose of business dealings with RGB and its retailer 2CO. Any unauthorized use of the information is treated as infringement of copyrights of RGB.

Disclosures
RGB takes all precautions to give correct and accurate information to its customers. However mistakes can occur and RGB takes responsibility if such inaccuracies are found. RGB does not take responsibility for incorrect interpretations and any consequential losses arising from such incorrect interpretations.

Disclosure of Treatment
RGB makes every effort to disclose the treatment of gems if they have been subjected to any form of treatment.

Applicable Law
Rohana Gem Bureau is a company domiciled in Sri Lanka and hence Law Applicable in Sri Lanka will govern these Terms and Conditions.

Gemological Certificates
Any single gem piece purchased from RGB where the value is US$ 500 or more will accompany a Gemological certificate issued by National Gem & Jewellery Authority of Sri Lanka. These certificates are provided by RGB free of charge. All jewelries sold are hallmarked by National Gem and Jewellery Authority Assay Office. National Gem and Jewellery Authority is the Authority established by the Government to regulate the Gem and Jewelry trade in Sri Lanka.

How to order.
There are two methods of ordering / purchasing from this site. First method being adding items to the shopping cart making payment through 2CO using the customers credit card or any other method acceptable to 2CO as explained under payment methods.. There are some items that cannot be added to the cart but instead there is a button to check availability. You can send a check availability message and if available can reserve the item or request to make available the said item under add to cart and allow purchase using 2CO. Alternatively, you can send an inquiry message and get more information and reserve the item. Reservation of an item will be made only up to five days and if not purchased within five days reservation will be cancelled. Please see more details under PAYMENT METHODS.

Payment methods.
Following methods of purchasing / payment are accepted by RGB.

CREDIT CARDS / PayPal
2CO acts as retailer for RGB and will accept PayPal, online checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Dinners, JCB, and debit cards with the Visa and MasterCard logo.(secured method of transacting using credit cards) Goods will be shipped from Colombo, Sri Lanka for orders accepted by 2CO.

MONEY GRAM
This method of money transfer is meant for transfer of funds by an individual to another individual. Hence funds have to be sent to be claimed by proprietor Mr. P.A.Piyadasa, I.D.Number 411820785V, No.23. Devala Road, Maharagama, Sri Lanka to be paid by Commercial Bank of Ceylon Ltd.. (Commercial Bank of Ceylon Ltd .is an agent of Money Gram funds transfer system) The remittance could be sent through any Money Gram Agent available worldwide. Upon making remittance please inform RGB by email info@rohanagems.com in order to ship the goods.

eEXCHANGE
RGB's Banker Commercial Bank of Ceylon Ltd. operates eExchange money transfer system in more than 50 countries through a network of agents. Agents of the eExchange Money Transfer System can be ascertained by using the following link to the Commercial Bank Ltd. http://www.combank.net/newweb/html/pb_eexchange.asp Money can be transferred to the credit of Rohana Gem Bureau Account Number 1110010094 Commercial Bank of Ceylon Ltd, Kollupitiya Branch Colombo 3, Sri Lanka. SPECIAL ADVICE.
Before the funds being transferred using MONEY GRAM, eExchange or TELEGRAPHIC TRANSFER please E Mail to info@rohanagems.com and get the item reserved to avoid any disappointment.

Shipping and Insurance
Merchandise is shipped from Colombo, Sri Lanka on the following working day after the payment is received. RGB sends all packages by Registered Air Mail Post, Express Mail Service (EMS) or by Fed Ex. Registered Air Mail including Insurance and handling will cost US$ 25. Shipping by EMS including Insurance and handling will cost US$ 40. Shipping by FedEx including insurance and handling will cost US$ 100. Depending on the destination Registered Air Mail will take one week to four weeks for delivery. EMS and Fed Ex take about one week to three weeks. All packages sent by RGB are insured with Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Ltd. Taxes, Duties and any other charges at the destination should be borne by the customer. Registered Air Mail is cheaper but the package cannot be tracked on line. If parcel is not received within 30 days it is possible to begin a trace after 30 days. Loss of Air Mail packages is very rare. Shipping and Insurance charges are not refundable.

Shipping Address
When ordering please provide us with your full shipping address, Your Telephone Number and E Mail address. Registered Air Mail, EMS and FedEx need signature upon delivery. Hence P.O. Box Number will not be sufficient.

Returns and Refunds.
On receipt of the package customer is requested to inspect the merchandise carefully and check whether the items received are in agreement with the order. If any discrepancies are observed inform RGB by E Mail within 3 days. RGB shall authorize return of goods if the discrepancies are found to be a mistake / shortcoming on the part of RGB. Upon receipt of goods in its original condition RGB guarantee refund, grant credit or replace the goods. Goods should be sent by Registered Air Mail Post to our office Rohana Gem Bureau, No 23 Devala Road, Maharagame, Sri Lanka. Customer will be responsible for the merchandise until it reaches RGB. In the case of refund it will be limited to and will not exceed the value of the article. Any other costs incurred shall not be refunded. Please do not refuse to accept Registered Air Mail parcel or Fed Ex parcel even if you decide that you do not need the merchandise. If goods get returned as a result of non acceptance it will be at customers risk and RGB reserves right to claim any expenses that had to be incurred in handling and clearing the package. If the package has been tampered with please inform the carrier immediately. If the package is empty or damaged please do not accept the package. In such an eventuality please inform RGB by E Mail the details of such damage or loss in order for RGB to claim losses and damages from Insurers.
